Hi Lee,
Give me a little while to recover, I never realised when I started out to build 3 how tedious it was going to be. I really struggled to finish them. It appears I now know I get bored once I know how to do a part of the build, so knowing I had to do the same part again and again, just bored me!
I currently have a building board list of Wot4 (for my grandson) – Nearly finished!
SebArt AngelS 50 Evo – Waiting to be assembled.
Ducted fan Cougar – a RBC kit, I have every thing t finish it.
Brian Taylor Mk9 Spitfire – Plan scratch build, again I have everything to finish it.
Mam’selle 37 1/2″ Vintage – scratch build. Plus Macgregor Digimac III transmitter conversion to 2.4Ghz
However, rest assured, if I feel like building another one, you will be first on my list to contact.
Best regards
Tony
Tony WatersModeratorHi Paul,
We have no plans to add Private Messages at this stage, but happy to discuss it at the next committee meeting on the 18th with the committee and take it from there.
Tony
Tony WatersModeratorI have also added a post in the site maintenance section under front door, for all members to see.
Tony WatersModeratorHi Everyone,
I would like to express my thanks to Geoff Hodson for painting the main clubhouse door for us all.
It has now completed the fitting of the new, more secure club hose door.
Thanks again to all involved.

Tony WatersModeratorHi Everyone,
Nigel has been working on the external walls of the club-house, grinding blown bricks and cracked mortar out; “masticing” the cracks and rendering the holes. It is a long job but he is going to continue today and his son Ben is going over with him (he is a plasterer and he does stuff like this – he has been giving Nigel lessons!) When Nigel has done, he will be asking for some volunteer painters, so that we can get the walls painted before the winter!
If anyone can offer Nigel some help, please contact him ASAP so he can sort out when will be best to undertake the painting please.
Tony
Tony WatersModeratorOur thanks to Geoff for doing this. I started the door process, but was unable to do the painting once my neck became an issue. Geoff kindly volunteered to do this for us all.
Nigel, can you send a email to Geoff thanking him for his help.
Tony
Tony WatersModeratorHi Alan
I totally support not going ahead with this. I do not believe it a requirement, and it will not only cost to undertake, but it will add maintenance cost to our annual budget, also who will undertake the maintenance? Judging by those lining up to install the lines it’s likely to be the same for the maintenance.
